The 1911 may be full auto. There were a number of them turned out by gangland gunsmiths in the 1930s. The lower attachment may be an extended magazine with grip wrapped around it for control. I have seen other examples with a front grip added like a 1921 Thompson. .

Period suppressors are on the collector market, such as original Maxim Suppressors, but they have a very narrow collector interest. A modern suppressor is going to be much more effective and many early models are currently replicated.
