PICTURES Please... providing an opinion based on second hand observations or descriptions will likely prove worthless...
OTOH, the chances of a plum colored upper receiver in the year 1936 making it past the quality control inspectors is pretty darn ZERO percent chance...

Thanks John, unfortunately there are no pics as the pistol in question I saw at a show and no pics are allowed there. I have the sellers info just in case I decided I wanted it. Just too many questions arise with this one for me to own and keep so I'm passing on it. I'd like a WW2 Navy but I'll just wait to find the right one... the big Antique Arms show in Las Vegas is in a few weeks and I'll wait to see what I can find at that show.... many of the major Luger dealers will be there.
