but I would try a new magazine or two (MecGar)before you do anything else. Interaction between the magazine and the toggle hold open on a mixed part pistol could be causing the problem you have described.
You might also invest in a new spring pack from Wolff springs... Give the pistol a through and detailed cleaning before your next range trip. Check the sear and firing pin engagement surfaces to see if they have been modified by an amateur to obtain a lighter trigger pull. If it ever doubles again, get professional help before you accidently hurt yourself of someone else... it is not worth taking any chances. A full auto Luger can be totally uncontrollable, especially if you are not expecting it to happen. regards, John Sabato |
