If you want some smooth grips, buy a cheap set of reproductions and sand the checkering off. The ones you show are bad at a ridiculous price. Bill

If I was after custom grips, I'd want something OTHER than Walnut to start with. Rosewood, Cherry, or maybe Bubinga. As it is, the grips that are on my pistol will stay there, a bit of stain helped them immeasurably.
