My most recent NRA Basic Pistol and state certified Concealed Carry classes have had a majority of women students.
On the collecting side, I have not encountered that many women interested in this. Over at the Smith and Wesson forum we have a small number of women participating. Not so many on the military firearms forums. The manufacturer's movement to market firearms that supposedly are more appealing to women is interesting. I suppose it got started with the "Ladysmith" line. The sketch artists are having their odd fantasies: http://steveoreno.deviantart.com/art...Luger-42562272 More interesting is this: ![]() And... they got the handgun wrong, but I suppose that this is a start: http://www.keithpaquette.com/infinit.../ladyluger.htm
