the 1920 is a gov't marking (see the FAQ) Mauser was not making lugers when the 1920 was stamped (a very few exceptions by unit armorers on a G date is knwn, but most were 1920 or 1921 -- IT IS NOT A DATE BTW) A reissue would almost never not have crossed out numbers before WW2 ended, I would say the crossed out / forced numbering is post war
