Good ideas..I would check to see if the magazine lips are spread too far apart too..Often as a round is hit by the bolt face to be pushed forward, loose lips towards the front will allow the cartridge to rise a tad and as it does.. the force of the forward momentum and the rise combined will stovepipe the round. It does not take much for this to happen.
