Hello to all, I've just finished barreling up a navy luger clone, and had the opportunity to inspect one of Lugermans Navy rear sight / toggle.. It was outstanding in every respect! Whether he made it or had it made, either way, to get done what you want, by machine or reverse engineered print, takes a ton of work and talent. It is obvious to me, Eugene Golubtsov has it!!! My hats off to him, congrats Eugene, on an excellent effort! Best to all, til...lat'r....GT...

I have to agree with GT that Eugene Golubtsov is the man to go to for restoration work. He recently restored my 1916 Luger and it is beautiful. His love of the work shows in the craftsmanship that is displayed on the finished product.

When I want to hire a highly skilled craftsman to do a job for me I try to remember that the quality of the work produced far outweighs the speed or business acumen of the person involved. From past comments about Lugerman, two things are obvious, one is that he may be a little slow at times but good work like his must be very time consuming and two is that everyone that has seen his work has nothing but the highest praise for the results. I think G.T.'s comments above illustrate that point very well.

Lon, While I agree to some extent..good communication helps to put a salve on some other problems. It's time consuming but necessary. I know of two gun bluers over the years and both had trouble with the length of time they had a clients pistol and poor communication. Fixing either one would automatically fix the other.
