yes the R is cursive. serial number above the trigger guard is 436x with a cursive R or l proof mark below it. hope that helps. Ill try to post some pictures thanks for the help. Is this a rare unit marking.

I'm wondering the approximate value of this gun and any history about it. I have had this gun about five years and I don't know a lot about it. Thanks for the help so far.
