I'm wondering aloud why the lever doesn't stay up. Isn't there a slot in the lever shaft that the spring semi-drops into in the raised position? Could the spring be a bit "fat" to drop into the grove.
I'm just thinking that a bit of filing or re-arching the spring MAY get you where you need to be. dju |

Congrats on your new gun, nice to hear about its accuracy. As for the take-down lever spring, I would NOT advise you to re-arch it. It is very thin and quite brittle. Please do not ask why I know this. Make sure that the groove in the frame in which the spring sets when closed, is clean. Good luck! Balder |
