The plating devalues it considerably. The weird stamping is a Machine Gun Company Unit mark. Unusual and uncommon that it's stamped on the back. Unit marks are most commonly found on the front or occaisionally the rear grip strap.
I would value it at $600 - $800 maximum. It is a "shooter grade" Luger with very little collector value left.
