OT Nambu stripped for parts

I know of several Police Depts that insist that all confiscated and turn-ins must be destroyed...but, they allow their armorer to strip the frames for parts. Then the frames are cut and the weapon certified as destroyed!

This is a 'cash cow' for the armorer, of course!

My Chief insisted that all numbered parts be destroyed but that left grips/mags/etc. They did [years ago] destroy a MINTY Luger Carbine, I am told. What a shame as it could have been sold and equipment purchased!
