Welcome to the forum!
My cousin married a beautiful Aussie sheila. Its great to visit them and have some jumbuck pie . Good tucker.
Vegemite is a acquired taste for me. I do love peanut butter, which Aussies feel is also a acquired taste.
I like your Luger, although I notice that most of the pictures where taken in the shower??
My suggestion is,when you take a shower with a gun, like I do,only carry a stainless steel gun. The soapy water is bad for the blued finish on a steel gun.

Ahh the old Jumbuck pie I'm guessing you cousin lives in country Australia?

I have to say that I like my peanut butter (especially with honey on toast) almost as much as I like my Vegemite. I have to ask when you refer to "peanut butter and jelly" is the "Jelly" a jam of some sort?

Ha ha ha I admit I do like the engineering marvels but not quite sure i'd get all cosy in the shower with them ha ha no those photos were from the seller I am still awaiting it to turn up so I can inspect her and get some decent photos up for you guys.

Did I mention I paid $800AU for the old girl with a spare mag, take down tool and the holster?

Oh no not that one the seller for the long barrel ended up sending me a mitchel's Mauser link for reference when I asked for more details about it. Tat was enough to scare me off. Apparently he got it and another long barrel mauser from Serbia in 2011 had them redone and rebarreled from blanks buffed and blued at zastava arms. Not really what I was looking for and definitely not at that price.

The $800 one I bought is pictured at the beginning of this thread.

Jelly is jam minced up so no vestige of the original fruit is left.Just a processed fruit spread with sugar added. I asked the cook!
Do you Aussies still toast your bread with a blow torch, like on the "Paul Hogan" show?

Ah, here it is! His email is -

Thank you for your enquiry. The pdf DVD of this book is available for USD 35 plus USD 5 for delivery from Switzerland.

The Video DVD is available separately from the publishers, Wide Angle, at their web shop: http://www.wideangle.co.uk/shop.htm

Might be a bit cheaper...

Edit - Mr Sturgess informs me that although they do not show it on their site or advertise it, Simpsons has the DVD for order here in the States...

Dear Mr Postino,

I did not realise from your earlier e-mail that you are US based - please contact Brad Simpson Publishing, who can supply a copy of the book DVD and accept payment by credit card.

http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...ducts_id=23643

Although the book DVD is not shown on their web site, they have stock for immediate delivery.

Best wishes,

Geoff Sturgess

Mr Sturgess does not quote a price for the stand-alone US/Simpson DVD, but presumably it is less than the $300+ book set...
