I was the other recipient and it's not the the one he put up for donation that is coming also. Mine arrives Wednesday. I only need to find a Cavalry, Dragoon or Uhlan unit marked luger to put it on. Preferable either a Dragoon or Uhlan

Tom, Ed..Many thanks! I have to agree... they are a thing of beauty. As dainty as they look you really can use them.
The end result is a culmination of many years of Luger lanyard research, acquiring a half dozen original example's and my many years of experience as a gold jeweler. It makes me happy that you appreciate them.
They start out as all raw material..leather hide, brass stock and thread. I hand make each and every leather & brass piece and put it together. Part of the enjoyment of what I do is to see what you see..a complete piece of art. It's a satisfying thing to do.
Thanks so very much for your patronage. I appreciate it very much.

Here, sunshine is pumped in and moonshine out so that should tell you there is a lot of in-breeding done here.

Default Oh My goodness.

I have one of Jerry's creations and it is nice, really works and everyone enjoys it. Simply superb.
But, selling as an original. That I think is a bit much. To each his own as the saying goes.

Jack, As with everything else there is a broad spectrum of knowledge. I would NEVER see one of my lanyards as an original but I have seen my lanyards OFFERED as an original. I have 6 original lanyards and there is a noticiable difference. As there should be.

It was a joke, Jack, a way to say the difference from a copy to an original for Jerry's work takes an experienced knowledgeable person. It was a compliment to Jerry.
