Occasional, i have three including this one. Original cased Colt Pocket 1949, Colt 1851 Navy reproduction and now this original R-1858. Plan is to obtain conversion cylinder for Remington in 45 ACP and reload to cowboy soft lead loads for carrying in the bush.

Back in the early 1970s, I purchased a couple of replica BP handguns(1851 Navy and a pocket model) and gave black powder shooting/loading/cleaning a try. It didn't take very long before I decided that it wasn't for me. i still have the handguns, but they sit silent.

I do own(received it as a gift from a departed friend) a Civil War rifled Musket in .58cal(I think). I would love to shoot it a time or two, but "lazy" seems to get in the way.
