There is also .30 cal. Luger, very common on the commercial models. See if a #2 pencil eraser fits into the bore. Sort of a go, no-go gauge.
Also there are other numbers on the barrel sometimes that we could be confusing. Photos possible?

Yes, a pencil fits into the bore. Not squeezed against the sides, but it is a snug fit.
