From your photos, I would say that the first mag is not Swiss, as these had DOUBLE PINNED brown plastic bottoms, that are marked with a cross on both sides of the bottom piece. The body is probably a pre-1938 Mauser nickel plated tube with a replacement (might be marked Franzite inside) plastic piece. Your pitted mag is a tin plated Weimar era DWM mag with a typical, to this period, cross-grain commerical unnumbered wood bottom. TH
