Help What do I have

the pics are just like my Luger, under barrel identical to mine except for serial #, the buddy I got the pistol from said his boys had shot it but he never had, I did the pencil test & pencil was sloppy, so is that 9mm ? I know pics are terrible but can yall give a ballpark value ?should it lock open because it doesnt, all the info is greatly appreciated Howard
