Hi Jack, Well the receiver looks righteous, and it's difficult to believe that someone would refinish the barrel without touching the receiver. Just to make sure though, try to take a sharp, clear photo of the top half of the gun showing the barrel, toggle train and rear sight extended to the 200m position.

It's raining cats and dogs here and dark; so I had to move indoors and try to rig up some powerful lights and not have glare. Here they are, we shall see.
