Thor,

There are a number of possibilities of scanning and recording the shape of "Things".

However there is only one way to translate this data to a cutter path and that is by hand wrighting the program to the machine tool via CAD-CAM or APT, the latter of which is about as old as the Dino's. I know I wuz dare !

And dere aint nuf call fur it to pay de bil.
