Pull the toggles back and lock in place. Take a properly sized stick..you may have to cut it but a yardstick may do it. Put the stick on top of the follower..push down untill the spring compresses and tap/push it some. If it is just tension holding in the mag it should respond immediately. It might take 2 people to do this..you will have to push in on the mag release at the same time unless you remove it beforehand.
Just out of curiosity..what is the maker of the reproduction magazine that's stuck?

Approx how much do I have to compress the spring? Does it have to be nearly completely compressed or just an inch or so? |
