Not in Norway I think..
There is a company called Landrø who bought up 14 500 captured K98's that where in military service. They still have them listed for 950NOK (165USD). Many officers/solidiers did as I did, and bought ours directly from the military for 500 NOK (87USD).

I agree with Patronen.. looks like they have disarmed the elderly, indeed a pilar of shame.

There are a number of sculptures made from the german weapons left behind.Heres the digital gallery , am not sure if the sculptures are featured but I have not been there for about 4 years now so I may make the trip soon and get some pics. I do remember all the K98s all welded up with barbed wire or something..
