The muzzle end of the barrel, and I am speaking of the entire radiused crown, has no bluing. There is slight bluing wear on the side of the barrel at the muzzle as might be caused by a holster.

I have not field stripped the pistol as it seems very clean to me. I did look at the youtube instructions for field strip which was very thorough. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.
Disassembling would be important in order to check if this gun is a matching numbered pistol and if the finish is original (inside rails must in white, with no finish, for example). If you're not feeling comfortable to field stripped check on youtube where there are several videos with instructions on how to do it:
