Frame Defined 
This is the ATF's published definition. It does not really describe either part correctly?
I have been told they have defined both/either as a frame in different court cases. I would not sweat having a SN removed from a barrel, or an un-numbered barrel if the lower receiver was correctly numbered. Orv Reichert http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/framedef.jpg |
