This may also have been in the era when reproduction Lugers were advertised on the backs of comic books...That's when I fell in love with the P.08. I believe I also had my Johnny Reb Cannon then. The balls all were lost, over time, but I found it would do just fine with billiard balls I drilled out to fit the guide tube in the center of the "bore". It lasted until about 1999, when it was destroyed by ice falling from the eaves. DP |
