let me think about this.....the only thing that comes to mind is the mainspring. but as weak as that vould be, it still shouldn't do that.It does it with the MecGar?? I would have to see that.Change out the mainspring, whicj your going to do and go from there. I Know this malfunction sounds familar, I had a lot of Lugers with almost every sort of feeding problem, I got to get my wheels turning going back over the last 25 years....DId you take out the striker, take out the sear, clean all that man, it just seems to me if that timing was off with how that sear catches, that could keep that action up, with the striker not going back correclty into battery. I don't know if this makes sense, let these guys read this answer and they will be sure to tell me if I am way off, or it could be. Like is the striker in the breechblock all clean and everything?? Sounds dumb but that could cause that to bind if that sear is not moving how it should be.
