Lars,

Sometimes items like this turn up at auction sites and sites with firearms/parts classified ads. The particular spring you need isn't that expensive from LugerDoc (and I actually bought the same item from him last summer!), but finding parts online can be satisfying and economical. For example, I just received a new front toggle for my Erma .22's today, purchased at online auction for $29.99--a saving of about $5 from Bob's Gun Parts, from whom I'd bought one a few months ago.

Patience and careful bidding usually pays off, providing you know what you're looking at, and how much it might cost if purchased elsewhere. And, in your situation, you'd need to buy from a vendor who is willing to ship parts internationally.

Will you be able to assemble a complete P.08 in the Netherlands? Other Dutch members have mentioned severe restrictions for firearms ownership there, so it made me wonder...
