Stopped in another one of my favorite gun shops today in hill country, to no avail. They have a lot of new stuff but also some used stuff. I'm really leary of buying something off the 'net sight unseen, especially a Luger.
Is there any documentation around what parts are serialized that I can look for? |

If you're collecting, choose a period/type and then go to that sub-forum here...Or go to Jan Still's Luger forum, he breaks the Luger down even more distinctly... For a shooter, serialization is pretty much a moot point...IMHO... ![]()

READ and figure out what type of luger you want first, if it doesn't matter the 'type' which equals years, then just a shooter is what you want. You will seldom find a decent shooter at your local gun stores. Lugers seem 'rare' when you are looking for one locally, yet there are hundreds for sale at any time.
