John,
How did I know this question was coming?
One of the reasons Neil said that he wasn't making any more, too labor intensive; he had to make the bbl, breechblock, & magazine.

hi,
can we get a bit more pictures of the breach block, please.
and also can you tell me if there are any mods made to the frame itself.

And I promise you this one i can easily make happen.

Far simpler to do then a 45 ACP from scratch.

Thanks.

I don't have anymore pics of it right now. The grip frame had to be widened inside for the wider magazine, the hold open was narrowed to allow the wider breech block to clear. I don't know what other modifications Neil had to make to the frame.

Out of curiosity, how well does the .45 GAP version of the Luger shoot in terms of accuracy and recoil? They're both gorgeous, by the way. Definitely distinctive!

Default 45 gap

I have made a small commitment in to a Luger 45 GAP project.

Ordered a 45 GAP reamer, that is apparently somewhat different then a 45 ACP reamer.

MidWayUSA has them on special order , takes 30 days.

If anyone has one to sell quicker, let me know.

Thanks.

Accuracy is better than my old eyes are, as for recoil, it does have more "oomph" than a 9mm, but is controllable, and really not too bad.
