I'm enjoying your article; thanks for posting it.

My grandfather was a machinist in the 1900-1930 time period. Seeing your work is stoking my long suppressed interest in learning more about this kind of work.

One of our North Carolina community colleges (Montgomery Community College in Troy, NC) offers a pretty well regarded gunsmithing degree. Hopefully I'll be able to attend someday!
