Hi Mike,
Welcome to the forum.
Very nice "1923 commercial". The newer and more correct designation is 20DWM in Jan Still's Weimar Lugers. It was made in 1920 for the commercial market. I don't see a 'GERMANY' export stamp on it, so it was probably originally sold in Europe. Most that are in the US have the export stamp. Yours looks to be in excellent original condition. The two blank bottom mags are correct.
Nice holster too. Does it have any stamps on it?

Hi Mike, Thanks for the great information (I always enjoy reading your post). Below are some photos of the holster. Germany is stamped across the back, and something interesting inside the holster. Also, for insurance purposes what do you think the value is for the whole rig

Hi Mike, I can't help you with the value of your Luger, I don't collect commercial stuff. However, the holster is a very nice early Imperial Army dating between 1909 and 1911. The ink stamp B.A. XVII stands for Bekleidungs-Abteilung (clothing depot) #17, which served the 17th Army Corps, headquartered in Danzig (now Gdansk). It's worth between $300.00 and $350.00. I hope this helps. Regards, Norm
