Value range on a couple Lugers

Bad description on my part, I went back tonight and purchased one of the aforementioned Lugers. The 40/42 is correct, and nothing appears to be refinished or strawed. Still didn't have a camera w/ me to take photos unfortunately. I am starting a new thread for some feedback on my G Date Luger which I just acquired, appreciate the feedback.... Thanks, Chris..

Ed, I have a mag that is bright, not blued. It is marked fxo, eagle over 37?in two places, and P08. The body is extruded (no seams or double layers) The lips of the mag were formed, in part, by grinding. The unmarked bottom is black-or very close to it- plastic or bakelite., showing a seam/flash from its mold. The bottom is attached with a single pin through the center of its little dished grips. The ends of the pin appear to have been bored out slightly and the resulting rims swaged outward to hold it in place. The body has a fine, lengthwise grain, I presume from the extrusion process, and in the deeper artifacts of this it appears dark, in contrast to the bare steel overall. It does not appear to have very much, if any at all in the way of leftover blued finish, even tucked in next to the bottom.
So, Mr. Tinker, what gives, here? Is this simply a regular fxo mag from which someone has scrubbed the blued finish?
