Sadly, it is all too often that the capture papers turn up long after the gun has been sold, since most vets did not ascribe much importance to the capture papers.
Usually, the papers come to light after the vet has passed as part of the estate, sometimes along with the gun's sale papers, as I am guessing is the case here. |
