does anyone have information regarding the reason for setting of this specific inspector stamp, which production process was check befor setting the qualitymark ....

or will this be an everlasting secret of the parabellumproduction.

Hi Wolfgang, One can find numerous markings, in the interior of most Lugers, whose precise meaning is lost to time. Considering The location of your mark, my guess is that it is a personal mark identifying the individual who installed the barrel. I have several pictures in my data base that show these symbols.
