I must agree with you. I checked with Chalie Kenyan and there are '42' seperate and distinct pieces. Too much can go wrong. Especially in the field. The togle is a truly vulnerable linkage. My Kreighoff is a work of perfection as are many of the upper end models. It appears more customs luger produced by Krieghoff than any other. Looking at a Browning for instance. It is clearly better proteced from the elements as are the revolvers. Why is it our FACINATION!!! Because they are timeless works of art. Way Cooool! Copied but never surpassed. One day I will fire my first luger But it will be someone elses!!
