Default Trigger side plate

Hello to all! I have a 1917 DWM that has all matching serial numbers except the trigger side plate. My side plate number is 01 while gun serial number is 8718. Would anyone have for sale a side plate with number 18? This Luger is in average condition but it has all matching numbers except this one. I am new to this forum and have enjoyed reading posts. I recently purchased my second Luger, a DWM 1917 Artillery with regimental markings. Thanks for all the great info.

Thanks,

Can anyone help suggest how to transfer the photo above from album to display on this page? I just can't get it. Thanks...

Thanks Ron, I read forum instructions but still had problems. Luger is marked 1917. Rest of serial numbers match. Do you feel this side plate is a reproduction? Thanks...

Dan, O2 serial stamped too high for a DWM, so is probably from a Mauser, particularly if it has 2 digits stamped inside. TH PS: Sorry no #18 DWM plate in stock.

Tom, thanks for the reply. This pistol is more of a shooter. Does not bother me in the least to leave as is.
