1900 american eagle w/8 inch barrel

I think with a proper barrel and some restoration this would make a fine example of a 1900 AE. What do you think.

As others have pointed out, there is no reason to assume that the barrel is "improper", and it certainly has been mounted on the gun for a very long time. I urge you to enjoy it as it is.
