Bill, in answer to your legality question... I think the true answer is that no one that I know has ever made a test case of this combination with the BATFE... I would hope that this 5-letter organization would use some common sense... since this is a repro of a prototype... I would love to see copies of the original blueprints of the prototype stock. That would be provenance to keep BATFE off the owner's back...
