Hi,

The standard commercial pistols that Interarms sold always had the grip safety. When Mauser started doing commemoratives, they camoflaged the grip safety on the pistols that didn't originally have it, but they didn't actually remove the safety, just tweaked it to work as a normal P08 style version.
