I think it was sent to Finland in the 1920th.
These rods are hard to find and I think it is the money worth.
Large loop rods were used with the commercial holsters 1906 and 1910. One large loop rod came with 6 Lugers during the Imperial time. I think that all of these have had a brass tip, those which came later than 1910 have had an acceptance stamp.
I think that the small loop rods were introduced during the 1920th and that those with brass tip were issued to Swedish Lugers.
During the last 25 years I found plenty of the small loop rods without the brass tip here in Germany. During the last years they are not often seen. The large loop rods with the brass tip are hard to find. I never found a large loop rod without the brass tip in Germany. I got my without the tip all in Finland.
