Yes, the German ideologists of the nazi regime considered that region to be the basis of the western European civilization on which they built their rediculous ideologies.
They pooped on history as well as on politics, decency, common sense and general good taste. |

Hello Postino,
To answer your questions: Sadly, although I forwarded an "Inventory List" to RIA with an accurate and detailed description of this piece, RIA used it's own descriptions of which I understand their need to do so. I am grateful that they included it in the flyer catalog and have given the piece it's due in the final description. If you will notice, in the flyer they also described it as being a "DWM" manufacture? No, I am of the understanding that the "Persian Contract" was solicited, drawn, and secured on the books before the country's name change (1935-6) was put into effect by the first Pahlavi (Reza Shah). However, regarding the execution of the contract (delivery) the 4" P-08 was delivered to "Persia", the artillery was delivered to "Iran". For good detail info on this, please refer to page 178 "Third Reich Lugers" by Jan C. Still Thanks Robert Last edited by RDR; 04-17-2011 at 03:42 PM. Reason: Correction: |
