It's a 9mm, and I can't find a single marking on the barrel. Only dings, scratches and possibly small toolmarks. Where would the date stamp be found if there is one?

Front sight is marked "+1", but that i guess is just a size indicator.
Since the gun shoots perfectly poa I think I'll give the trade a miss..

There's no marking on the rear toggle either and it looks a lot newer than the rest of the pistol and even the barrel.

If it had been reworked for continued service use, like in ww2, wouldn't there be proofs and stamps all over the replacement parts?
