I believe the sheriff won it (or maybe it was donated) but it was a commercial semi-auto version with a stick magazine... until they carried it to the shop, that is.

Clearly a shorter barrel than the 16" version you'll find in the gun stores. Also note how the guy walks into the shop, gun in hand and with his finger on the trigger... "We're professionals, don't try this at home!"
