Hunt,

If you can post more pictures, please take them in indirect natural light (outside in the shade) and use a tripod if possible. This helps autofocus cameras stabilize and gives a better rendition of the finish.

If this is in original finish and has good coverage, it's a rather valuable example of the first Lugers made by Mauser at the time Germany was hiding their weapons manufacture from the limitations imposed after WW-I. The "K" dates are most rare.

Many think that the "S" stamped on the pistol was intended to confuse these with those authorized for manufacture by Simson & Co. (the only ones permitted by the treaty).

If the brown that shows up in the photos is oxide rust, don't do anything with it until consulting those here.
