IMHO I agree that these were spare mags brought into the US between 1898 to 1923 when the import law changed to require products be marked "made in ---" (country of origina). If they had been in a complete pistol, the marking of the gun would have been sufficient. TH

Thanks Tom. is there new ( made in these last years )magazines with the word Germany stamped on them?
