I was looking at the auction catalog as well and noticed the same thing. My take on any test weapon is that you beat it to death. That way, you see how it performs under different severe conditions. The term "test luger" and excellent original condition does not correlate to me.

To bad they are not selling the ultra rare "Djibouti test luger". I would be bidding big!
