I'm an aircraft mechanic for an aerospace company and I get to use it all the time . excellent stuff but if you can find a product called acf 50 I find this to be a much better product . I have thought about using this myself many a times but just never have tried it .it is an anti corrosion formula required to protect, penetrate , and lubricate such aircraft components as aircraft interior skins, electrical components, switches, motors, hinges, terminal, pretty much any in aviation.

I have a tropical used luger that has a rust finish
, I have been testing Corrosion X on it for about a year with no problems. It is suppose to get under the rust and prevent it from forming, my fear is that it might over time remove rust bluing Its mineral oil based, interesting for you shooters out there, they claim higher velocity if used as a barrel lubricant. So far so good. But you know I worry about all this high tech stuff. Will let you know if I see any detrimental results. Vern |

CorrosionX has never hurt anything I have that has a blue finish, in fact it is only something that attacks red rust.
