Thanks for the insight. So, this piece would have been produced in 1920 and has a Type II Army magazine from 39/40? Sounds like the magazine should have been one with a wood base with the corresponding serial number?

I don't see much discussion of these produced for the Army. Seems much more discussion of commercial models during this time period.
