Hi Ron, There is no American Eagle. The SN is 5037 all numbers matching however there is no # on the magazine. There are Crown B and U markings on several parts as well as "GERMANY" stamped below the SN. The gun is in remarkable shape but it does have some very light pitting on the right side of the barrel where the previous owner, not a gun guy, had it stored in a sock (I was mortified). The bore, however, is absolutely perfect. I have detailed ownership from Gen Breckinridge to me but because it was passed down through inheritance it wasnt always stored correctly.
