Using Gunbroker to value such guns only goes so far. I pulled up all of them available on Gunbroker. There were only three. One was cobbeled together from many other guns and with some reproduction parts. Another was butchered by the Europeans by removing the chamber date, ruining it for anyone who collects. The last one, the one with the nice holster rig and all matching numbers (except the mag, possible taking it out of the market for a serious collector) is the only one that any of us might consider. It is under priced with a starting price of $2,500. The only reasons there have been no bids are that either it's too early to bid (most serious bids occur during the last few hours) or that there is no one bidding right now that has that kind of cash. Also, there are only two pictures of the gun itself, which usually makes collectors suspicious. The simple fact that there were only three on Gunbroker should be an indication as to how rare they are to find. Trying to BS the possible seller into a very lowball price by using erroneous info is a tad underhanded, IMHO.
